Shopping Cart

Enlightus has a well organized Shopping Cart which enables you to purchase the valuable content that best suits your need from the list of items from the Catalog. To navigate to Catalog click on "Browse and Buy" menu. You can make a purchase by adding the items to the cart first. Once you click on "Add to Cart" link for any of the content items listed in the Catalog, a small view of the cart is displayed on the top right hand corner of the page, which displays items in the cart as shown in the image below.
From this window, the user can remove the content item or proceed to check-out inorder to make the purchase.

NOTE: You need to have a Login account with Enlightus to purchase the items

Clicking on Check Out button, the system takes to the the screen to Login (If not login before) or gives you an option to Create a New Account with Enlightus. Login to the Enlightus with your existing login id password. Once you input the valid login credentials, you will be redirected to a page where you can see the items in the left side of the page, which you have added to the Cart as shown in the below images.

In the right side of the page you can find two options to make the payment. You can select to "Pay with a Credit Card" or "Pay with PayPal". After selecting either of the options, input all the required fields and click on Continue button to proceed to make the payment.

Newsletter Signup

Anyone can subscribe to Enlightus Newsletter by typing one of the valid email addresses and clicking on Subscribe button on the Enlightus home page as shown on the right side of the image, marked with red color. After successful subscription, an alert message will be popped up saying "Thank you! You are now signed up for the newsletter".

Enlightus Top Menu Bar

Enlightus.com now shows a top bar. This makes the searching easier for the learners. To go to Enlightus, the growing repository of Learning Content, just click the "e" icon on the left top or click the link "Enlightus" on the right. To search the master catalog of content or across all learning portals under Enlightus, just click the "Search" link on the top right and launch the global search.

Event Creation on Enlightus

Enlightus now allows to create Events - online classrooms or webinars. There are many standard applications to do online meetings like MS Live meeting, Webex etc., but when these are used in the context of online learning, it is also important that it is "trackable" for both authors and learners.
Enlightus Event editor has following key features:
- Ability to schedule an event online
- Neutral to online webinar tools: this means one can use any of the variety of tools online but the tracking can still happen on Enlightus.


- Events are searchable, so if the number of events grows, it is easy to look for the specific one based on the description, keywords, title etc.
- If the event is not online but is a classroom event, you can show the URL for directions to the geographical location. Simply copy paste the URL from the maps application you use like google maps or yahoo maps etc.

- select from an existing list of Presenters available in the system so you do not need to remember who are the presenters available in the system.

Global Search: Search accross Learning Portals

Enlightus users can search across the main portal and all the leaning portals in the network to find learning resources or courses. The user can click on the items listed in the search result to connect with the leaning provider and learning resource of their choice.
